MTX-GTW II with NodeRed

In an effort to bring to our products more functionalities that can be helfpul to our customers, our MTX-GTW II industrial gateways now support NodeRed for the programming of IoT applications with an intuitive and easy drag-and-drop interface. NodeRed allows the control of devices through that node interface, offering a user-friendly management solution.

Among other things, this interface offers IT professionals, integrators and developers the capability to utilize the distributed intelligence options of the device to provide analytics on incoming data and create more actionable outgoing data quickly and easily, without needing to be an experienced programmer.

Applications can be simply created and deployed by the click of a button based upon NodeRed’s visual development tool. It provides an intuitive graphical programming functionality ideal for rapid prototyping, designed for IT professionals to optimize and scale the edge behavior of their IoT network.

The NodeRed visual development tool is perfect to use in an industrial IoT environment. The interface makes it easy to wire together flows using the wide range of nodes in the palette. Flows are then immediately pushed by a click of a single button to deployed hardware.

Which Titan adjusts better to my project?

MTX-Router-Titan are an innovative industrial routers that comprises a complete set of wireless and wired interfaces. By providing an easy integration and powerful interfaces, it avoids further hardware components.

The configuration of the MTX-Titan routers can be intuitively done from any computer with a web browser. We can connect locally via Ethernet or WiFi, or remotely via 3G. We can also connect via SMS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and SNMP.

MTX at Taipei International Industrial Automation

Greetings from Taiwan, where MTX was with Axiomtek at the Taipei International Industrial Automation this month.

The fair, dedicated to Industry 4.0, takes place every year in the Taipei World Trade Center, and introduces products and solutions for automtion systems, controls, instrumentation and test systems, production software, industrial robots and more.

On the Axiomtek stand, were highlighted the MTX-Java family modems, modular and adaptable to all kinds of IoT solutions, and the MTX-Router-Titan II, our new device on the rugged and innovative Titan router family.

Vertical Solutions Proposal by Flexitron

Flexitron presents a new publication where we analyze some of the most relevant vertical solutions for the Smart City of the future, based on the different options that exist in terms of sensors, hardware and software in Matrix Electrónica and other companies of the Flexitron Group.

With the increasing global urbanization, there is increasing effects on the environment, and a need for a new paradigm of urban management, more efficient and economically viable. The document aims to offer sustainable alternatives that improve the quality of life of citizens, focusing on key urban sectors like transportation, parking, power resources, waste management, lighting, air quality control, etc.

The publication develops different management examples for several solutions, analyzing the hardware and software equipment needed to make these connectivity projects happen. It also explores the pros and cons of these applications, and the effects they would have on the daily lives of the citizens of the Smart City.
